Vacation to Pagosa Springs!

Well we finally got a chance to spend some good quality time as a family and with our friends the Kiger's. We went South East to a little town known as Pagosa Springs ,CO. If you haven't heard of it, the town is known for the natural hot springs that flow thru there. They have a spa area were you can enjoy all temperatures of the springs for a nice relaxing day. The springs contain various minerals which help detox your body in many helpful ways so needless to say we came out feeling like a million bucks. Crystal and I had a lot of fun with our camera and took about a gazillion pictures, we even had a few developed by a local place which I think turned out great!

Sunday morning we awoke to the typical joys of Easter. Crystal was just glad to have a soda again since she gave it up for lent. I was just happy to be on vacation. We went to Brunch at a little restaurant named JJ's and had a great time just being a family for the day. Brunch wasn't great food wise but memorable in company, everyone was dressed very nicely and I think we all matched very well. After brunch we moved on to the spring area for a photo session which was trying at times due to the early wake up after a 10 hour day of driving. Here are some pics of everyone from easter day. I have plenty more but here is just a tidbit.....

One day we awoke and as we were getting ready all of a sudden the room went dark like on the movie Independance Day. We all thought that the sun had just went behind a cloud. So me being a sun peeking out from behind the cloud picture fanatic I had to see if it was picture worthy. Well needless to say it wasn't a cloud blocking the sun but a hot air balloon landing in front of our condo.

Well all in all we had a wonderful time in Pagosa! After we left there on Wednesday we went and stayed at the Kiger's for a couple of days before we headed back to the old bump and grind of home. Spending the time with the family(Kiger's included with that)was just a very memorable and fun vacation. I don't think we could have asked for better weather and company to spend Easter with. Will post again soon, TTFN!
