Decorating the Christmas tree

Well we went a bought a cheap $25 Christmas tree and a box of $13 ornaments and then some craft supplies. Crystal, Mom and the kids then homemade ornaments to hang on our tree and truly make it unique and original. As usual we then spent the night decorating while playing some Christmas music and drinking some eggnog. The kids really got a kick out of seeing our magnificent tree decorated with their creations. This will truly be a Christmas to remember.

Long Postponed Update......

Well I have been kinda lax in updating our blog. Between my schedule constantly changing and dealing with the house being built;t I have been a little busy. A lot has happened over the last three months and my have they passed so quickly, so now that the holidays are over I decided to get in here and post some pictures and just let everyone know what is going on. Here are some pictures of the house as of the day that they were putting in the cabinets. The house is now completed and we did our walk thru on 21 Dec. We should have closed that day and moved in on Christmas Eve but the appraiser was taking his sweet time. As of today we are still waiting on him to finish the appraisal and update the bank. He did appraise it last week but he did not give it the value it deserves or enough for the bank to fund so he will hopefully update it based on what we actually put into it and the comp of the other houses in the area. As soon as we get in the door I will take some more pics and post what the completed product looks like. We are just amazed that they actually built our house in 7 weeks. The guys even worked Thanksgiving and Sunday's to get this done for us. CBH homes is truly amazing and the foreman Brett was outstanding. Hopefully we will be settled in the house by the end of the week.
